What Are Nightly Notes?
- They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
- So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
- They are typed instead of handwritten,
- They're public instead of private,
- They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
- A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
- Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them
For an interesting variation on daily writing see 100 words.

It is 11:36 pm.
- who impressed me the most today? artist, author, Mary Mashuta. Relooking at an old quilting book of hers motivated me to do some things at
multipurposewoman.org I'd been a bit discouraged about the site and hadn't done anything in a few weeks so it was good to be prompted.
- what did I do all day? up 2 hours late, to PCC, Kroger, as soon as I walked up the steps to the house J came out ready to go to a track meet at Seneca Park, then to North End Cafe for tapas (was expecting "dinner" but it was between 3 & 5), finally home
- when did I leave the house today? 9:45 am
- where did I go today? again this question was preempted by my lack of understanding of "what did I do all day?"
- why didn't I get more done today? random thought pattern at work - plus adding stuff to the artist's area at multipurposewoman.org took longer than I expected - as usual. If it's as usual but I didn't expect it does that mean that I'm ???? unobservant? inarticulate? unaware?
